SCOPE AND CONTENT

Contains the daily record of a Slateford, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, company store. The entries show purchases of consumer goods, particularly food, by employees of the company. Also shown are the purchases of the company's product, school slates. End of the month distribution of wages is noted as well. Also included are eight bills from the company store addressed to Charles Kennedy. The bills document purchases of such hardware as drills, shafts, chisels, and shoe sets.
