BIOGRAPHICAL STATEMENT

The Wylie Furniture Co. was located in Washington, Pennsylvania.

SCOPE AND CONTENT

Entries document items sold and work performed by the Wylie Furniture Co. from 1846 to 1854.  Among the forms represented are washboards, quilting frames, tables, showcases, bee boxes, cupboards, and coffins.  The firm also repaired pieces of furniture, planed boards, and did turning work.  Crosshatching of entries probably indicates payment, though few credits are recorded in the volume.
