The Old Colony and Fall River Railroad Company formed in 1854 with the merger of the Old Colony Railroad Co. (founded in 1844) and the Fall River Railroad Co.  The company was based in Massachusetts.

 

 

SCOPE AND CONTENT

 

Contains reports of railroad accidents in Boston, Massachusetts, from 1852 to 1854, along with a printed notice of the first meeting of the Old Colony and Fall River Railroad Company, hand-written minutes of the meeting, and the company's by-laws, 1854.
