Elisha Foord was a merchant in

Consists of a bound account book
kept from 1758 to 1766 and miscellaneous receipts, bills, and accounts that
record objects purchased and sold by Foord, including textile fabrics, ribbon,
lace, buttons, thread, and other dressmaking materials, earthenware,
handkerchiefs, snuff boxes, Irish linen, rum, sugar, molasses, etc. He purchased many of the products from
