Richard Sanborn was a bookseller
in the
SCOPE AND CONTENT
Contains accounts kept by Richard Sanborn and another family member, Lisah Sanborn. Those written by Richard record sales of and orders for "great bibles." Other accounts document cloth and household expenses as recorded by Lisah. For example, on one page she noted an amount owed for the purchase of several types of fabric, thread, pins, a tin lamp, etc.
