SCOPE AND CONTENT

 

Consists of 92 photographs of historic sites in Massachusetts (33 photographs), New York (28), Vermont (13), Pennsylvania (11), New Hampshire (2), and in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA (2), and Oak Ridge Cemetery, Georgetown, Washington, D.C. (2).  There is also one unidentified photograph.  The photographs are accompanied with typed descriptions of the building, monument, or site and its significance.  Many of these notes include the date on which the photograph was taken.  Many of the sites have Revolutionary War connections. 

           

 

ORGANIZATION

 

The photos are in no particular order.  All the photos from one town are not necessarily found together.  A few photos are loose.
