Daniel Lockwood and his wife Margaret lived in

A small collection of receipts, orders, articles of
agreement, deeds, bonds, bills of sale, accounts, and other documents relating
to Daniel Lockwood and his wife Margaret.
Several items relate to real estate.
There is an order about laying out a highway; it includes a small
map. Lockwood received a license to keep
a tavern and sell alcohol.

payment made by Daniel Lockwood, for unspecified goods or services,

Lockwood for Lockwood’s rent of lots 7 and 8 in Marlboro,
.3 articles of agreement between Lewis
Dubois, a farmer, and Daniel Lockwood, a laborer,
Lockwood is to manage Dubois’ farm and
to have use of farm equipment, oxen, horses, and Dubois’ two Negro men; Dubois
also to furnish Lockwood with pasture and hay for one horse, and boarding,
lodging, and washing for Lockwood and laborers; witnessed by Ebenezer Foote and
Eli L. Burney
.4 report to the Marlboro town clerk from
the Commissioners appointed to lay out a public highway in Marlboro, includes a
description of and a small map showing where the road is to run; signed by
Cornelius Dracke, Ludlow Smith, David Merritt, and T. Clark, December 22, 1794
