BIOGRAPHICAL STATEMENT

 

The Brown family resided in Essex County, Massachusetts, mostly in Ipswich, where various members of the family were yeomen, house carpenters, hatters, turners, and blacksmiths.

The collection consists of deeds, quitclaims, bonds, and receipts, relating to various members of the Brown family of Essex County, Massachusetts.
