SCOPE AND CONTENT
This
artificial and still open collection consists of a variety of etchings,
engravings, lithographs, and photolithographs primarily from the 19th century
with a few from the 18th century.
Approximately 20% are views of American cities; several are in the form
of folding paper souvenirs. Also
featured are fashion illustrations, political cartoons, portraits, and
engavings of paintings.
ORGANIZATION
Arranged by size and then in accession number order.
LANGUAGE OF MATERIALS
The
materials are primarily in English, but also in French and German.
