Volume 2 contains two plates numbered 26, one of which belongs with volume 3 (which is missing plate 26).  Volume 3 contains two plates numbered 27, one of which belongs with volume 2 (which is missing plate 27).  Because it is not possible to tell which plate belongs with which volume, they were left where found.

Volume 2 contains two plates numbered 26, one of which belongs with volume 3 (which is missing plate 26).  Volume 3 contains two plates numbered 27, one of which belongs with volume 2 (which is missing plate 27).  Because it is not possible to tell which plate belongs with which volume, they were left where found.

Box 7:             A folder containing title page and plates from various works, mostly unknown.  Contents as follows:

 

Title page for Principes du Style Gothique, by Frederick Hoffstadt.  Liege: E. Noblet, no date.  (Four plates which follow probably from this.) 

 

Four plates, very probably from Principes du Style Gothique, beginning with simple line drawings of geometric forms, and advancing to more complex Gothic ornament.

 

Plates 13-24, 37-39, 41-42, 44-47, of various items (furniture, textile, glassware, metal wares) in the South Kensington Museum, published by Longmans, Green & Co.

 

All these items are in a folder with table of contents for parts 1-3 of items exhibited in an unnamed museum, but evidently the South Kensington Museum.  The items listed under part 2 match with the plates numbered 13-24 above.
