AND CONTENT
This
open collection of oral history interviews and transcripts was part of a Henry
Francis du Pont biographical project started in the mid-1970s by museum staff
members John Sweeney and Dorothy Greer.
These interviews covered the du Ponts and
their close friends, employees living and working on the Winterthur estate, the
Henry Francis du Pont Winterthur Museum, the gardens as well as the Winterthur
Farms.
ORGANIZATION
The
transcripts are filed alphabetically by last name.
The finding aid lists name, date, subjects, if there is a transcript and
remarks.
PROVENANCE
The
early tapes and transcripts were transferred from various museum offices. Later tapes and transcripts were
generated by the Winterthur Archives.
