This
collection consists of sheet music collected by Ruth Wales du Pont.
The majority date from the first quarter of the 20th
century. The covers are often very
colorful, depicting fads of the time.
Many have photographic insets of singers and performers.
Such artists as Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, George & Ira Gershwin,
Oscar Hammerstein, Rodgers & Hart, Billy Rose, and Cole Porter are
represented.
ORGANIZATION

sheet music is housed in numbered boxes.
